We are a five piece band from Austin, Texas that started in late 2004. We've been compared to such indie luminaries as Archers of Loaf, the Hold Steady & Pavement.

As you can see we are doing a an east coast tour in February. We will have a few more dates to add soon. Also we have a couple of Austin shows on the docket we have not put up yet. Dear Friends,
As many of you may know, Joe Deshotel has left La Snacks for a time to return home (Beaumont) to get his college degree. We have been working to move Trae (our bass player) to guitar and adding a new bass player our friend Charlie. This does not mean Joe is out of the band forever and does not mean he is definitely coming back.
We made this decision so we could continue writing and recording songs for our new record. We have about seven new songs that we will play at the the Mohawk November 12th after Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, inside with our good friend DJ John Gross. We hope you will join us for this new era of La Snacks.
